Why Every Termite Inspection Needs Termatrac - Superior Spray

What is Termatrac and why your termite inspection should include it.

Termite swarming season in Central Florida is almost perpetual. Not protecting your home against these destructive insects could be setting yourself up for an expensive disaster. In fact, termites do about $5 billion in property damage in the United States each year. At Superior Spray Service, we have seen the damage first-hand and we don’t want you to become another statistic. That is why we continue to invest in furthering our education and the equipment we use to detect and treat termites. Therefore, we are proud to announce we will be using Termatrac technology in all of our WDO and termite inspections.

Termatrac T3i

Termites can run (and fly), but they can’t hide from Termatrac.

Termatrac is a state-of-the-art detection system that is changing the pest control industry as we know it. One reason termites pose a threat to homeowners and business owners just like you is because they are so hard to find. By the time you notice visible signs of termite damage, you are dealing with a full-blown infestation and possibly structural damage. Termatrac uses radar detection technology to pinpoint wood destroying organisms so that they can be eradicated efficiently. The Termatrac T3i scanner releases high-frequency, low-microwave emissions that can penetrate through building materials. These emissions detect differences in the reflected waveform, which stems from interference caused by the movement of termites or other pests that could be crawling through your walls, attic, or crawlspace.

Seek and Precisely Destroy

No one wants their drywall ripped off in order to look for termites. Thanks to Termatrac, invasive WDO discovery techniques are not needed. Instead, Termatrac uncovers pest activity through a patented system of radar technology, moisture sensing as well as an infrared thermal sensor for extra confidence. Thus allowing the pest professionals at Superior Spray Service detect a small problem becomes a total infestation. The Termatrac T3i device can also find termite entry points and track active pest areas. Allowing our Florida licensed pest control professionals to deliver the right amount of treatment exactly where it is needed.

Termatrac Cloud-Based Reporting

Termatrc employs a cloud-based reporting system. That means all data gathered by the Termatrac T3i scanners – radar, moisture levels, and heat – can be transmitted off-site, and accessed by technicians, supervisors, or even the client through an online account. Moreover, this cloud-based reporting system verifies the data from the T3i scanner, providing guaranteed proof of activity prior to treatment. Additionally, our pest and termite specialists are able to prove the absence of pest and termite activity after our treatments have been carried out. Another bonus, the Termatrac cloud has enough storage for T3i operators to store a decade’s worth of logs from scans and inspections, meaning we can always have access to your account data.

Termatrac isn’t just for termites.

At Superior Spray, it is our business to protect your home from termites and other pests. We will always continue to improve our education and technology related to our pest control services.
